It seems as though a little research on Hard To Treat Diseases (PINK:HTDS) pays off again. In the most recent press release titled 'Hard To Treat Diseases (HTDS.PK) IP Rights Pink Sheets Filings', the company states regarding the company that they are seeking to reclaim their intellectual property from "The OTCBB company is in default in their filings with the SEC. and has received an "e" on its symbol as a late filing issuer."
Sure enough, the company that I speculated to be the opposition, Blue Earth Solutions, Inc., has changed its symbol from BESN to BESNE. My original article was published under the title 'Who Really Owns Styro-Solve(TM)?' and is located online at http://www.nvestorz.com/blog/view/id_24/title_Who-Really-Owns-Styro-Solve-TM/
The document filed with the SEC by HTDS titled 'Supplemental Information' and located at http://www.pinksheets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=23700 contains the patent numbers of the intellectual property that HTDS is seeking to reclaim possession of. These properties are identified as US Patent No.'s -
- 5,223,543 - Reduction in polystyrene with activated agent
- 6,743,828 - Reduction in polystyrene foams with dibasic esters
- 7,241,858 - Reduction in polystyrene foams with dibasic esters
- 7,321,003 - Methods of reducing polystyrene foams using dibasic esters with extruders
- 7,476,696 - Reduction in polystyrene foams with low vapor pressure dibasic esters
The last two of the patents in the list above contain wording that tie them into Styro-Solve(TM), as such: "This is a function of the Styro Solve recycling system previously implemented by Katz et al., the contents of which are specifically incorporated by reference in their entirety."
Edited per a suggestion by sachinis: It should be noted that "the Patent Assignee's name is now changed to HTDS".
